Stephanie Sioën-Gallina

About me

Since 2005, I have been assisting companies and start-ups and helped them best protect their creations, whatever their nature (brands, apps, software, jewelry, photographs, books, recipes, formulas, etc.).
When there is an infringement of their rights or when they are accused of infringing the rights of a third party, in addition to the economic and legal aspects which are very important, I have noticed in many cases it there was a personal affect or an ego issue. However, a legal procedure has neither the object nor the goal of helping to recognize this affect or ego of a person.
Offering or accepting mediation is not an admission of weakness or an implicit recognition of the little chance of success of one's case. On the contrary, it is the proof of a real desire to try to find a solution by contributing to this search.
I trained in mediation to assist my clients, but also to make them aware that they could also innovate in the search for amicable solutions in the confidential and supervised setting that mediation provides.
Mediation allows the parties to express themselves and communicate directly (to sincerely speak to each other) and to express their real needs.
